Mr. Rudak brings over 35 years of experience in digital imaging, rising through the ranks of Eastman Kodak Company and its various business units and subsidiaries; Document Imaging, Encad, Graphics Communications, Retail Printing, Consumer Imaging, and Kodak Alaris. Pete has served as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer for each of the businesses, including responsibility for technology and R&D associated with establishing a $4B Graphics Communications business for Kodak through the acquisition of multiple external companies and integration with some of Kodak’s existing businesses.

Start-ups to Fortune 500 companies take advantage of Pete’s extensive experience and insights to help them drive innovation, sustained commercialization excellence, and profitable growth through his current role as President & CEO of Rudak Engineering. In this capacity, Pete specifically enjoys tackling projects that lead to business transformation or enabling startup businesses to scale up through customer focused innovation, clear and compelling strategies, system level architecture/design/integration, and cross-functional commercialization excellence.

Most recently, Pete has scoped, planned, executed, and delivered ibml’s new FUSiON product platform, not only driving double-digit growth for ibml, but also disrupting and transforming the Information Management industry it serves.  

Pete has an MS degree and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, and he holds 14 patents in the field of digital imaging, with 2 additional patents pending.

He has joined Owl Autonomous Imaging as Advisory VP of Engineering, working with the Leadership Team to scale up the business and drive commercialization of Owl’s novel and industry changing technology.

Get to know Pete

Fun Fact: Among friends and family, Pete is known as a different type of CTO: “Chief Tunes Officer”.

Pete served as architect, site planner, contractor, electrician... for the 1994 build of his home, which they currently still live in. Today's plans include a new project about to start up for an additional standalone 4 car garage.

Hungry? You're in luck. Pete has been cooking and serving “Saturday Night Dinner” for the family since we first started having kids. It’s now become a much larger tradition/event, as his 3 daughters have grown up and bring their husbands, boyfriends, and children for this "intimate dinner for 10". Multiple courses plated & served to please.
